The Barnum Bombers continue to obliterate opponents in the early portion of the girls basketball season. After dispatching Cromwell early in the week, the Bombers trounced Two Harbors on Thursday and on Monday, they steam-rolled past Carlton.

"I have to give our team members a lot of credit for their efforts this year," said coach Randy Myhre. "It can be especially difficult this time of the year to maintain focus and a high level of play because of all the activities that surround everyone at Christmas time."

The Bombers have certainly shown they can maintain that focus after downing the Agates 73-50 and then Carlton 79-19.

"Not only has our team maintained a high level of play, but they have continued to excel in the classroom as evidenced by our team members earning spots on the academic honor rolls," stated Myhre. "We are very proud of what we have accomplished and our team knows it has to continue to get better in order for us to reach our goals."

Megan Myhre scored 23 points in the win over Two Harbors, Katrina Newman added 14 points, Darian Bushey and Jaimee Wickstrom each finished with eight points, it was seven points for Sarah Myhre and Leah Nordvall, and both Jessica Newman and Katie Myhre had three points.
