Dwight L. Radeke, DDS, 68, died in his home in Boise, Idaho, in February 2007 at the age of 68. Born in February 1939 to Egmont and Gladys Radeke in Princeton, Minn., Dwight spent his childhood and early adult life in Minnesota. He graduated from Princeton High School in 1957 and attended the School of Dentistry at the University of Minnesota, graduating in 1970. He practiced dentistry in Carlton and Cloquet until 1982, at which time he and his family moved to Boise. He retired from his dental practice in Boise in 2000.

Dwight married Dorothy L. Larson of Princeton in October of 1962. They had two children together, Michelle Robin, born in 1969, and Troy David, born in 1972. They were divorced after 26 years of marriage in May of 1989.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Larry Radeke.

He is survived by his two children, Michelle Radeke (husband Luong La) of Redmond, Wash., and Troy Radeke of Seattle, Wash.; three grandchildren, Trinh Marie La, Emily Linh La and Kien Dac La, all of Redmond; one brother, Robert Radeke of San Mateo, Calif.; one sister, Bonnie Anderson of Princeton; and seven nieces and nephews.

Dwight loved water activities and the outdoors, especially the Birds of Prey area along the Snake River. His family plans a private memorial service in this area this summer. A public memorial service in the Princeton area will follow later this summer.
