Dorothy P. Hakala, 68, of Cromwell, Minn., passed away Friday, June 13, 2008, in St. Francis is the Park Nursing Home in Superior, Wis. She was born June 20, 1939, in Cloquet to Johann and Dorothy (Bell) Strandberg.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold, and son John.
She is survived by her children Lola, Nancy, Bill, Jill and Tom; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Jack; sister, Kathy; and special loved one, Louis.
A memorial service was held Monday, June 16, at 11 a.m. in Bethany Lutheran Church, 5660 Highway 210, Cromwell. Family received friends from 10-11 a.m.
