The Blue Star Mothers of America, MN Chapter #3-Moose Lake and the Pine/Carlton Support Group are working on their next mailing for soldiers.
The "Hearts for Our Heroes" mailing for Valentines Day is Thursday, Feb. 1, at 6:30 p.m. at Holy Angels Catholic Church, Moose Lake.
If you have any donations you would like to include in the packages, contact Cathy at 218-390-1727 and she will pick them up from you.
Suggestions for items to donate include: any presweetened powered drink mix (i.e. Crystal Light, Kool-Aid, Gatorade); Tuna or Chicken Creations/lunch kits (packages that already have all the condiments); Cup-O-Noodles or Cup-O-Soup; protein bars; trail mix, nuts; jerky; breakfast bars; breath mints; granola bars; Fruit Snack (roll-ups, gushers); hand-held games; board games (small, travel size); word game books (small, travel size); disposable cameras; and DVDs.
