David E. Hilton, 48, of Cloquet died Thursday, April 5, 2007, in his home. He was born Sept. 9, 1958, in Cloquet to Vergil and Betty (Rodgers) Hilton. He worked as a carpenter and loved doing small engine work and working in the oil fields.
He was preceded in death by his father, Vergil.
David is survived by his son, Cole Hilton of Sawyer; daughter, Kristen Frigon of Nevada; mother, Betty Hilton and significant other, Donald Durbin of Cloquet; brother, Timothy Hilton of Cloquet; sister, Lindy Johnson of Cloquet; niece, Katie Johnson; nephew, Brett Johnson; aunts, Delores Bohren and Adeline Levitz; and many friends.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 12, at 11 a.m. in Nelson Funeral Care, Cloquet.
