New officers of the Daughters of Isabella, a women's group at Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Cloquet, were installed in ceremonies held Wednesday, Oct. 3, at the church.
State Regent Beverly Vought of St. Cloud, Minn., presided as Elizabeth Hope was installed as the new regent, Maureen Danielson as vice regent, Jean Wilson as recording secretary, Audrey Singpiel as financial secretary, and Sue Vedder as treasurer. All are Cloquet residents. Bonita Kloskowski of Cloquet is the retiring regent. The Rev. Keith Bertram, associate pastor of Queen of Peace Church, has accepted the post of chaplain.
The Daughters of Isabella is a national Catholic women's organization whose charitable activities include fund raising and sewing, visiting the sick, volunteering, and communal prayer.
