Daniel Guy "Boone" Olson, 38, of Minneapolis, Minn., passed away unexpectedly Thursday, April 19, 2007. He was an enrolled member of the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa. Boone loved playing guitar and country music.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Beverly Ann Thompson Olson.
Boone is survived by his children, Douglas and Daniel "Boone" Jr., Britney, Brooke, Kayla and Alexandrea; one grandson; his father, Dwaine; sisters, Neva Mueller and Rita Aune; brothers, Blaine Freeman, James Mueller, Dwaine Olson Jr. and David Olson; and many nieces, nephews and special friend Tina.
Visitation was held Monday, April 23, beginning at 5 p.m. and continuing through the evening until the 10 a.m. Traditional Service on Tuesday April 24, at the Fond du Lac Headstart gymnasium, Cloquet.
