Lakes and Pines Community Action Council (CAC) announces Carlton County Human Services is the recipient of their Allies in Action Award.
Lakes and Pines Community Action Council looks for partners to help better understand, provide services and advocate for the area's lower income residents and their communities.
The Allies in Action Award recognizes a formal CAP partner whose partnership has allowed them to enhance services, who themselves have demonstrated excellence, and delivered services consistent with the mission of Lakes and Pines.
Carlton County Human Services, demonstrating excellence in support of the Community Action Mission, is recognized by many as an organization that has strong collaboration with area resources to promote the health, safety, dignity and self-sufficiency of individuals, families and communities within, and sourrounding, their area of service.
Carlton County Human Services is instrumental in providing resources and opportunities to help local communities and residents overcome the barriers and obstacles to achieve greater self-sufficiency.

As a formal partner with Lakes and Pines CAC through Project HOPE, transitional housing, and the many other CAP programs, Carlton County has displayed their belief and commitment that individuals and families represent the foundation of communities. As an example, through Project HOPE, Carlton County Human Services has shown outstanding dedication and commitment and has made extraordinary contributions to the HOPE program and its efforts in serving those in need.
