The Minnesota Timberwolves announces the 13th annual Gatorade-Timberwolves Shootout will be held at Target Center on Saturday, Jan. 3. The Shootout will feature some the state's top boys basketball programs, with six games every two hours beginning at 10 a.m.

The first game of the day, scheduled to begin at 10 a.m., features northern Minnesota powerhouses Cloquet against Pelican Rapids. Cloquet boasts 6-foot-10, 225-pound junior center Chad Calcaterra. In his sophomore season, Calcaterra averaged roughly 10 points, 10 rebounds and four assists per game. Pelican Rapids returns 12 seniors this season and is coming off a 22-8 record in 2007-08, and finished last season with a loss in the section finals.

Tickets for all six contests are available for $10 at the Target Center box office on the day of the Shootout. That ticket is good for the entire day and also includes a free ticket to a future Timberwolves game.
