Cloquet Police are investigating a report of a gun shot fired early Tuesday morning near the 400 block of 14th Street that resulted in the arrest of one Cloquet man.
Just after midnight Tuesday, officers responded to the call reporting that a man with a gun was threatening others, according to Cloquet Police Chief Wade Lamirande.
Reportedly, two people were arguing in the street when a man fired a gun once and began walking away. Officers set up a perimeter in the area and when they were unable to locate the man, went back to the home where the incident was reported, received permission to search, and allegedly found several possible suspects.
They were reportedly uncooperative, and 19-year-old Winston Andre Jones Anderson of Cloquet was arrested after giving a false name to police, according to Cloquet Police Detective Derek Randall. Anderson was charged with obstructing the legal process and giving a false name to a peace officer.
Officers also found a .22 pistol in the home during the search, but no shells or casings were found.

Witnesses were unable to positively identify the suspects.
"It's difficult to give a precise description in an intense situation," Randall said.
