The Cloquet Police Department has successfully located Tyler Stevens, 14, who was pronounced missing in the early afternoon of Thursday, July 8.
Authorities initially asked for the public's help in locating Stevens at approximately 11:20 a.m., categorizing the threat as minimal. Stevens was believed to have run away from where he was staying in northern Cloquet and was not thought to be in immediate danger.
"(I)t is CPD's, and those that care for Tyler, interest in locating him to ensure his safety," an alert from the department said.
As of 12:17 p.m., authorities say Stevens has been found safe.
