Clara Louise Bruneau, 78, of Mahtowa, died Wednesday, June 4, 2008, in Mercy Health Care Center in Moose Lake. Clara was born June 10, 1929, in Bain, Minn. to Elmer and Alice Olds. She attended Kimberly Area Schools. Clara married Ernest Bruneau on April 14, 1947, in Aitkin, Minn. Clara enjoyed doing crafts and doll making.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest; 2 brothers, Chester and Leonard Olds; and one sister, Pearl Peterson.
Clara is survived by her sons, Ernest (Janet) Bruneau of Alamogordo, N.M., David (Dorothy) Bruneau of Cloquet, and Ronald Bruneau of Mahtowa; daughters, Laura (Fred) Dahms of Barnum, and Judy Bruneau of Fairborne, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brothers, Fred Olds of Ft. Worth, Texas, Ernie Brinkmeyer and Robert Brinkmeyer both of Wash.; sisters, Evelyn White of Beloit, Wis., Betty Kohls of Chippewa Falls, Wis., and Donna Peterson of Crosby, Minn.
Visitation was 1 p.m. until the 2 p.m. Memorial Service Wednesday, June 11, in Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th St. in Cloquet. Inurnment will be in Mount Salem Cemetery.
