Christine Rudd Jerez passed away Friday, Sept. 28, 2007, in Miami, Fla., with her family's love surrounding her. Christine followed and excelled in her childhood vocation of nursing. She graduated from the College of St. Scholastica to begin her career in the emergency room and went on to achieve her master's degree in nursing administration. She was highly respected among her peers and her team. Christine spent her life putting her family and friends first. A selfless person, Christine was always there to lend a hand, give a pat on the back or offer an ear to bend. Her well of encouraging words ran deep and true. She was always quick with a sincere compliment to add a sparkle to your day. She had an inherent zest for life and treasured every day and everyone who shared in it. Christine's beautiful smile, quick wit and loving demeanor will forever be missed.
She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Jose, and their son, George, both of Miami, Fla.; her parents, Toivo and Patricia Rudd of Cloquet; and two brothers, Dennis (Nicole) Rudd of Atlanta, Ga., and John (Elizabeth) Rudd of Esko.
A local memorial service will be held at a later date.
