Christine G. Loe, 54, of Boise, Idaho, formerly of Esko, Minn., and Bayfield, Wis., passed away Monday, Jan. 15, 2007, at her residence in Boise. Chris was born Feb. 23, 1952, in Duluth, the daughter of Harold H. and Bertha (Lohman) Hyde. She was a graduate of Esko High School. On Sept. 21, 1974, she was united in marriage to Scott Loe in Esko. In 1975 they moved to Idaho City, Idaho, and later to Boise. She was employed at the Hill Crest Country Club in Boise and was a student at Boise State University. She enjoyed weaving, gardening, quilting, sailing, time at her mountain cabin, going to thrift sales, playing games and spending time in Bayfield visiting with family and friends.
Survivors include her parents, Harold and Bertha Hyde of Bayfield; siblings, Yvonne (Steven) Cox of Menomonie, Wis., Raymond (Tara) Hyde of Hailey, Idaho, John (Kathryn) Hyde of Esko, Teresa (Daniel) Weber of Bayfield, Wis., and Donald (Helen) Hyde of Iron River, Wis.; nine nephews, three nieces, four aunts, three uncles and many friends.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 19, at Bethesda Lutheran Church in Bayfield. Visitation continued Saturday, Jan. 20, from 10 a.m. until th 11 a.m. funeral service, also at Bethesda Lutheran Church. The Rev. William Wrieden Jr. officiated. Interment took place in the Greenwood Cemetery, Bayfield.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Mountain Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Ashland and Mellen, Wis.
