A 3-year-old child died Sunday after being found unresponsive in the family's inflatable-top pool.
Tyler Skagerberg was found Sunday afternoon by his 5-year-old brother.
According to the Carlton County Sheriff's Office, emergency workers were dispatched to Silverbrook Township after the child was found in the pool. Efforts to revive the child failed, and the child was pronounced dead at Cloquet Memorial Hospital.
The Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident. Carlton County Sheriff Kelly Lake encourages owners of pools and ponds to be aware of the dangers associated with pools and ponds.
