The Cloquet-Esko-Carlton hockey team got five goals from their first line on Thursday night on their way to a 5-0 home win over Buffalo.

Tyler Johnson finished with a pair of goals and three assists, Justin Jokinen added a goal and three assists and Victor Karlsson recorded two goals and two assists in leading CEC to the shutout win.

"I thought our first line played very well," commented CEC coach Dave Esse. "That first line finished around the net the way you'd like to see in hockey."

Despite no points from the other lines on the team, Esse did feel that they all played well.

"I thought our other lines moved the puck very well," mentioned Esse. "Those lines did get some good looks, so I was happy with the way they played."
