Carlton County is highlighted on page four of the Spring/Summer edition of "Child Welfare Matters," a newsletter printed by the National Child Welfare Resource Center for Organizational Improvement.
Carlton County was noted within the article for its ability to "work collaboratively to coordinate community-based services for low risk families" through the Minnesota statewide program, Family Assessment Response. Families served have a decrease in child maltreatment reports and costs, and are more satisfied with their provided services.
Carlton County received congratulations from representatives from the Minnesota Department of Human Services for receiving national recognition for our programs and services.
