The Cromwell boys basketball team rode a big 45-point second half to defeat the Polar Bears of Floodwood 65-54 during a home match on Tuesday night.
Cody Hendrickson led the Cardinals in scoring by pouring in 21 points on the night, followed by a big 20-point game from Jordan Johnson. Rounding out the scoring for Cromwell was John Ammesmaki with nine points, John Hedin and Grant Odegaard with six each and Levi Scheff with 3.
Floodwood's Ben Scharnberg led all scorers with 28 points for the Polar Bears.
