Looking for a little family fun this weekend? Head on over to Wrenshall Brickyard Days on Friday and Saturday, Aug. 3-4, on the Wrenshall School grounds.
The event gets under way with the Wrenshall Classic Car Show on Friday, Aug. 3, from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Wrenshall School parking lot. The entry fee is $5 per car and awards will be announced at 7:15 p.m. Everyone who has a vehicle to show is invited. The evening will include a barbecue, Schwan's ice cream, beverages, raffles and '50s and '60s music.
While enjoying the classic cars, take time out to enjoy the Wrenshall Little League Spaghetti Dinner from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the school cafeteria.
Try your luck at Posse B-I-N-G-O from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the school commons area in support of the Carlton County Sheriff's Department Mounted Posse.
Start Saturday, Aug. 4, at the Pancake Breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church.

Then it's the big Wrenshall Brickyard Days Parade down Broadway beginning at 11 a.m. Lineup will take place in front of Wrenshall High School on Pioneer Drive beginning at 10:30 a.m. The parade will start on Broadway, proceed through Wrenshall and end up on Alcohol Road.
After the parade, the Wrenshall community invites everyone to the school grounds to have a barbecue, hot dog, hamburger or bratwurst. After lunch, enjoy a piece of homemade pie at the sixth grade pie sale from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Recreational Building.
The fun doesn't end there - the Wrenshall Fire Department will hold a Bucket Brigade, raffles, prize drawings, Son Life Carnival, games and family events and numerous vendors to fill up the rest of your day!
The Boneyard Bar Horseshoe Tournament will also take place on Saturday, Aug. 4, with registration at noon and the tournament getting under way at 1 p.m.
Top the night off with dancing to the live music of "Street Dance" at the Boneyard Bar from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.
