Erika L. Brekke and Aaron D. Zabler, both of Minneapolis, Minn., announce their engagement and upcoming wedding. The couple plans to be married Aug. 30, 2008, at the Elm Creek Park Reserve in Maple Grove, Minn.
Parents of the couple are Arvid and Nancy Brekke of Esko, and David and Mary Zabler of Twin Lakes, Wis.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Concordia College in Moorhead, Minn., where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. She is a quality assurance analyst for Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.
The future groom is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Park Rapids, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree. He is a bank examiner for the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis.
