The Barnum girls basketball team continued their undefeated streak with a pair of wins over local rivals Moose Lake-Willow River and Cromwell this week.
Tuesday night, the Bombers rolled to an 80-26 win over the Cromwell Cards after taking themselves to a 36-8 halftime lead.
Megan Myhre lit up the net with 30 points for Barnum, Katrina Newman tossed in 14, it was Hildur Palsdottir scoring eight, Darian Bushey and Leah Nordvall each finished with seven, Jaimee Wickstrom added four and Jessica Newman scored three points. Both Sarah Myhre and Hannah Wekseth had two points.
The Cards got six points from RaeAnn Odegaard while Emily Hendrickson, Ari Korpela and Megan Shelton each added four. Tanya House, Lisa Peterson and Dayna Elmer finished with two points each, and Ashley Collman had a point for Cromwell.
- On Saturday, the Cards led 33-16 at halftime against Moose Lake-Willow River and then extended that lead to a final of 62-32 as Megan Myhre finished with a game high 23 points.
Also scoring for Barnum were Bushey with eight points, Katrina Newman with 12, Palsdottir adding two, Wickstrom scored nine, Nordvall added three and Jessica Newman scored four points.
Natasha Dragicavich led the Rebels with 11 points, Hillary Peterson added seven, it was six points each for Allie Adamczak and Candy Stepan and Peggy Stepan scored four points.
