The Barnum girls basketball team kept things rolling with wins over Proctor, Chisholm and Silver Bay this past week.
On Monday night the Bombers downed Proctor 68-41 to finish off a busy portion of their schedule. Colleen McKay led Barnum with 26 points, Brianne Benson, Katrina Newman and Jessica Benson scored 12 points, Megan Myhre added five points and Sarah Myhre had a point in the win.
Delaney Lundeen led the Rails with 17 points.
Barnum held a convincing 46-22 halftime lead and cruised to the win.
- Friday night the Bombers throttled Chisholm 71-41 with McKay hitting for 26 points again, Newman added 19, Jessica Benson recorded 14, Megan Myhre added five, Brianne Benson scored three and both Sarah Myhre and Leah Nordvall finished with a pair of points.
- Last Thursday Barnum romped to an 89-17 win over Silver Bay, leading 45-2 at halftime, as five different Bombers scored in double digits.
McKay finished with 18 points, Jessica Benson scored 13, and Megan Myhre, Brianne Benson and Newman all had 11 in the game. Also scoring for Barnum were Sarah Korbel with seven, Jessica Newman had five, Katie Myhre finished with three, and Tarin Hedquist, Sarah Myhre, Jamie Wickstrom and Kiaja Wickstrom all had two points.
Barnum is 12-0 on the season and has been ranked in the top 10 in the state Class A polls since the start of the season.
