The Minnesota Bluegrass & Old-Time Music Association (MBOTMA) has announced its schedule for its Minnesota Bluegrass Community Concerts for 2009. The season begins in February and runs through April with three groups presenting nine concerts in eight towns throughout Minnesota. April will see The High 48s in Moose Lake.
Since forming in 2006, The High 48s have grabbed the attention of festival audiences in the Upper Midwest and beyond, toured steadily, released two critically acclaimed CDs and won first place in the 2008 Rockygrass Band Competition in Lyons, Colo. They will be in Moose Lake on Thursday, April 16, at a location to be announced starting at 8 p.m.
