Amber Bloom scored 15 points on Thursday night in leading Carlton to a 56-31 girls basketball victory over Two Harbors.
The Bulldogs never trailed in a game they led at halftime by a 28-21 score. It was a solid win for Carlton with nine different players getting their name in the scoring column.
Only Christine Bryant, with 11 points, joined Bloom in double-digit scoring, but the depth of the Bulldogs proved to be too much for the Agates. Also scoring for Carlton were Elissa Sandstrom and April Davis with eight points each, Danielle Peterson and Danielle Soukkala each scored four, and Marissa Wojtysiak, Paige Carpenter and Natasha Godbout each had a pair of points.
Kelsey Raycraft was the lone Agate in double figures with 10 points.
