Kristi Blair and Michael Wooden, both of Rochester, Minn., announce their engagement. The couple will be married Saturday, Aug. 2, in Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Cloquet, Minn.
Parents of the couple are Charles and Jill Salo of Cloquet, and David and Mary Wooden of Red Wing, Minn.
The bride-to-be is a 1999 graduate of Cloquet High School. She graduated from the University of Minnesota-Duluth with a master's degree in communication sciences and disorders in 2005. She is a speech language pathologist at Stanley Jones and Associates, Inc., in Rochester.
The future groom is a 1999 graduate of Red Wing High School. He graduated from St. John's University in Collegeville, Minn., in 2003 with a bachelor's degree in economics. He is the general manager for River Valley Power and Sports in Rochester.
