Bergstedt inducted into Minnesota High School Coaches Hall of Fame

Former Cromwell football coach Keith Bergstedt was recently inducted to the Minnesota High School Football Coaches Hall of Fame. Bergstedt, a graduate of Esko in 1971, was the head football coach at Cromwell from 1987-2003, a total of 17 seasons.

Former Cromwell football coach Keith Bergstedt was recently inducted to the Minnesota High School Football Coaches Hall of Fame. Bergstedt, a graduate of Esko in 1971, was the head football coach at Cromwell from 1987-2003, a total of 17 seasons.

During his tenure in Cromwell, the Cards went 156-34, they won three state nine-man titles, finished runner-up three times, and qualified for the state tournament a total of 11 times. Bergstedt's teams won 11 section titles and 10 conference championships.

Bergstedt is also a three-time Minnesota High School Football Coaches Association Nine-Man Coach of the Year. In 1998 he was named MHSFCA Coach of the Year and he has also been a two-time Nine-Man All-State Coach of the Year.
