Arrowhead Library System offers free art resource

More than 1,000 award-winning arts and crafts video classes are now available online.

The Arrowhead Library System is now providing free access to Creativebug — an online art and craft resource — for patrons residing in Carlton, Cook, Itasca, Koochiching, Lake, Lake of the Woods and St. Louis counties.

According to a news release, Creativebug offers a multitude online instructional videos for various arts and crafts, such as design, jewelry, sewing, paperwork, knitting and more. It also includes downloadable templates, patterns and recipes.

Creativebug classes are taught by recognized design experts and artists, with more than 1,000 award-winning videos available.

Through the Creativebug website, users can search for classes by skill difficulty levels, quick or multi-part classes, specialty techniques or video tutorials best suited for children.
