Ardyce F. Haglin, 89, of Superior, Wis., formerly of Cloquet and Saginaw, passed away Sunday, Aug. 5, 2007, with family by her side. She was born May 23, 1918, in Eveleth, Minn., to Henry and Susan (Foley) Downey. Ardyce spent many years farming with her family. She also lived in Alaska working in the fisheries. She returned to Cloquet where she retired as a cook at the Cloquet Hospital. Ardyce was active in her church, enjoyed gardening, knitting, crocheting, and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence W., and her son, Clarence D.
Ardyce is survived by three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
