Alma Jean Popejoy, 77, formerly of Littlefork, Minn., passed away peacefully Sunday, Oct. 14, 2007, at her home, surrounded by her family, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born Aug. 15, 1930, in Littlefork, Minn., to Severt and Ellen (McArthur) Thompson.
Alma is survived by her husband Iler; sons, Lon (JoAnn) of Duluth, Minn., and James of Albuquerque, N.M.; three grandchildren, Jaala, Olivia and Agatha; two great-grandchildren, Melia and Kiera; and many nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation or service per Alma's request.
