While their win/loss record is not where they'd like it to be, the AlBrook girls picked up a nice win over Cherry by a 69-52 score on Monday night.
The key to the win for the Falcons was their ability to get up early and pull away to a 20-point lead at the half.
Asia Paulson led the Falcons with 22 points, Kayla Blom finished with 15, Alisha Defoe added 14, Emily Anvid recorded nine, Andrea Johnson scored four, Crystal Blais had three and Rebecca Sylvester finished with a pair of points.
Erianne Bright and Laura Griffiths led the way for the Tigers with 12 points apiece.
The Tigers fought back and outscored the Falcons 29-26 in the second half, but the damage done by AlBrook in the first half was too much to overcome.

The Falcons hit four three-pointers in the game which turned out to be a key factor as the AlBrook defense held the Tigers without a long-range shot in the game.
