The AlBrook Falcons are looking to have a strong season after going 3-5 last year and bowing out in the first round of the playoffs. The Falcons have 35 players this year in grades 9-12
"Seniors Eric Napier, Brock Wilton, Brad Bober and Brandon DeBock should each have a good year for us," said Falcons coach Larry Anderson. "We lost John Tondryk, Jeff Gauthier, Kevin Getchell and Josh Spikberg to graduation."
The Falcons also picked up 16 athletes in the seventh- and eighth-grade classes who will have a chance to learn about the game while working with the program.
"I expect us to be respectable this year and have a winning record," mentioned Anderson. "I have a lot of young players out for the team and I think our biggest issues will be for us to come together as a team."
Anderson also says the key will be for the older and younger players to mesh together and also develop a winning attitude as they play for each other.
