Adele Hartwick joins MCCU board of directors

Adele Hartwick, who recently retired after a 30-year career at Advanstar Communications in Duluth, has been named to the board of directors of Members Cooperative Credit Union.

Adele Hartwick, who recently retired after a 30-year career at Advanstar Communications in Duluth, has been named to the board of directors of Members Cooperative Credit Union.

"Adele has a superb background in finance and is ideally suited to join our board," MCCU President/CEO Tammy Heikkinen said. "I look forward to working with her and we all look forward to her expertise benefiting the Northland's largest credit union and its 33,000-plus members."

A Duluth native, Hartwick served as vice-president, treasurer and controller of Advanstar at her retirement. She is a graduate of the University of Minnesota-Duluth with a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting. She is a current member and past chair of the Grandma's Marathon board, and she is also a member of the Young Athletes Foundation.

She serves on the REM Arrowhead Human Rights Committee and is also a Duluth election judge. She is married with two children.
