Amy Acker and Jay Pinsonnault, both of Blaine, Minn., were united in marriage Sept. 16, 2006, in Prince of Peace Fellowship in Duluth.
Matron of honor was Amanda Byrnes, sister. Bridesmaids were Melissa Fravel, friend; Erin Casey, friend; Melanie Smalley, friend; Tennille Bernal, cousin of the bride. Flower girl was MacKenzie Hietela, cousin of the bride, and the bride's personal attendant was Bridgit Maruska, friend of the bride.
The best men were Scott Pinsonnault and Max Pinsonnault, brothers of the groom.
Groomsmen were Dave Hansey, friend of the groom; Jeremy Smalley, friend of the couple; and Chad Acker, brother of the bride. Ring bearers were Isaac and Noah Pinsonnault, nephews of the groom. Ushers were Dustin Byrnes, brother-in-law of the bride; Jason Brodeur, friend of the couple; and Brian Levy, friend of the groom.
The new bride is a 1999 graduate of Esko High School. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Superior in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in psychology. She is currently attending the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, pursuing a master's degree in social work. She is employed as a mental health case manager for SouthMetro Human Services in St. Paul, Minn.

The new groom is a 1991 graduate of Denfeld High School in Duluth. He graduated from the University of Minnesota-Duluth with a bachelor's degree in exercise science. He graduate from the College of St. Scholastica in 2004 with a nursing degree. He is currently a registered nurse for Ramsey County.
Parents of the couple are Fordyce "Buzz" and Shari Acker of Esko and Rene and Christine Pinsonnault of Duluth.
The couple resides in Blaine, Minn.
