The Minnesota Department of Health reported five more cases of COVID-19 in St. Louis County on Thursday.
St. Louis County reported a total of 24 active cases and two hospitalizations. Of the 151 cases that have been confirmed in the county, 113 people have recovered.
Three new cases were recorded in Itasca County. They are among 365 new cases in the state and the completion of 13,072 more diagnostic tests.
Nine more Minnesotans have died with COVID-19. None of them were residents of Northeastern Minnesota.
The number of people with COVID-19 in an intensive care unit in the state has risen by two to 162. The number of people hospitalized outside of an ICU setting dropped by six to 174.
Of the 34,123 Minnesotans who have tested positive in the last few months, 1,406 have died and 29,854 no longer need to be isolated.
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services reported 464 new cases and six more deaths. None of them were recorded in Douglas, Bayfield or Ashland counties.
