Catie Luehr of La Habra, Calif., and Clayton Mark of Whittier, Calif., were united in marriage Saturday, July 12, 2014, in Escondido, Calif. The Rev. Sarah Sumner-Eisenbraun performed the ceremony.
Parents of the couple are Dave and Dana Luehr of Barnum, Minn., formerly of Cloquet, and Bob Mark and Nancy Meraz of Whittier, Calif.
The new bride is a 1999 graduate of Cloquet High School and a 2003 graduate of Valparaiso University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. She earned her Master of Divinity degree from Luther Seminary in 2009 and is employed as a pastor at Emanuel Lutheran Church in La Habra.
The groom is a graduate of California State University in Fullerton where he earned a Bachelor Science degree and a masters degree in education. He is employed as a teacher at Whittier City School District.
The Maid of Honor was the bride;s sister, Anna Luehr of St. Paul, Minn., and Morgan Jacobson of Whittier, sister of the groom, was a bridesmaid.

The Best Man was the bride’s brother, Chris Luehr of Eden Prairie, Minn.
