This still image was taken from the film "In Place Out of Time," about a man who is trying to document all the petroglyphs in New Mexico with a dime-store camera. The film, one of thirty to be shown at the Free Range Film Festival this weekend is described by organizer Anne Dugan as "so touching and sweet and definitely a little heartbreaking."

Wrenshall, MN - "Offering a farm fresh alternative to stale cinema" - July 24 and 25 - the Free Range Film Festival will celebrate its sixth year of showing quality independent films inside a historic barn in the middle of organic farm country.

Thirty films will be shown over the entire weekend including some selections from Sundance and South by Southwest.

"My favorite movies this year are about old men," said Anne Dugan, festival coordinator. "We have a documentary about a 95-year-old running for congress and another about a guy chasing his dream to document every single petroglyph in New Mexico."

Dugan is quick to point out though, that it's not all just prune juice and walkers.

"We've got movies on the hunt for sasquatch, music videos with Jesus, and a short film on gun safety - there really is something for everyone out here."
