Organizers of the Wood City Music Festival are planning an even bigger and better event than last year’s inaugural Christian music festival at Cloquet’s Veterans Park.

Expect great music, food, a children’s bouncy area and a chance to meet the bands at this year’s Wood City Festival, set for Aug. 8. Admission is free; however, buckets will be passed throughout the day for all who are inspired to donate.

There will also be an all-city church service at 11 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 9, at Veterans Park.

Organizers said they’ve raised about 50 percent of the needed funds and appreciate business, organizational or individual giving at any amount and/or services or products at cost or free.

To find our more or to donate, go to the website at woodcitymusicfest.com or call 218-879-7099 and ask for Lee.
