TJ’s Country Store will celebrate 40 years in downtown Mahtowa Friday, Aug. 4, in true TJ’s style. There will be music, a Blackhoof wine tasting, food, beer, camaraderie, a pie and ice cream social, and a gigantic fireworks display to top it all off.
Honest Doug Soukkala and Friends will play a George Jones tribute from 5-8 p.m.
Folks are encouraged to bring a lawn chair and a smile, and dress for the weather. There will also be special anniversary prize drawings.
