The summer spotlight will once again be on the community of Moose Lake this weekend as it hosts its annual Depotfest and Crazy Corn Day dual celebrations on Saturday, Aug. 1.
Sponsored by the Moose Lake Area Historical Society, the 12th Annual Depotfest will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Depot and Fires of 1918 Museum, located on Folz Boulevard on the edge of downtown Moose Lake.
The event will feature a wide variety of crafters and vendors, including Tupperware, Watkins and Tastefully Simple products as well as local artisans who create jewelry, wood products, photography, crocheted items, handmade pillows, jams and jellies and much more.
The Moose Lake Area Historical Society's popular annual flea market is also on hand once again. A silent auction will be held all day, with final bids due by 3 p.m.
Brats and hotdogs will be available for festival-goers, and musical entertainment will be provided by Pinewood Landing from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
