The Easter Bunny will make his way to Pine Valley Park in Cloquet the day before Easter, and all children from toddlers through grade five are invited to come hunt for Easter eggs. The event starts at 11 a.m. (but come early and be prepared to walk from your parking spot).

Thousands of multi-colored plastic eggs will be hidden around the wooded park behind the hockey shelter in three different age-specific areas (ages 1 to preschool, kindergarten through second grade, and grades 3-5).

After collecting their eggs, children can turn them in for a bag of candy and get their picture taken with the Easter Bunny. There will also be special golden eggs with prizes hidden in the park. The event is free and coordinated by the Cloquet Area Chamber of Commerce, the city of Cloquet and Cloquet Community Education.

The Cloquet track and field team is holding a $5 pancake breakfast at Carmen’s Restaurant on Big Lake Road from 9-11 a.m. Saturday. Families are encouraged to stay and explore the trails at Pine Valley after the event.
