Ruby's Pantry
There are no income guidelines for this non-profit food distribution program. Distribution is the fourth Wednesday of every month at the Cloquet National Guard Armory, with registration at 9 a.m. and distribution at 11 a.m. Limit one share per family (with a $15 donation) to allow more in the community to benefit. Volunteers are always welcome.
UPDATE: Last week's Community Calendar announcement listed the wrong date. Due to the five-week month of March, Ruby's Pantry will take place on March 30.
Mom's Hockey Game
The Third Annual CEC Mom's Hockey Game will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 26, at the Cloquet Area Recreation Center. There will be a silent auction fundraiser that evening as well to benefit the CEC hockey associations.

Community Supper
A meal will be served at 5 p.m. Sunday, March 27, at the Presbyterian Church of Cloquet, 47 Fourth St. For home delivery, call 218-879-8813 and leave your name, address, phone number, number of meals, and where to leave the meal(s) if you are not home. The meal is free but donations will be accepted and appreciated.
Carlton County Council on Aging
Attention all seniors and caregivers: The council is sponsoring a meeting from 9:30-11 a.m. Monday, March 28, at Grace Baptist Church, 601 14th St., Cloquet. The guest speaker will be Sara Prosen, aging services planner at the Arrowhead Area Agency on Aging. She will discuss the role of the agency and will gather input on the needs of seniors and family caregivers in Carlton County. Everyone is welcome to attend. Minnesota Crime Wave
Come to the Moose Lake Public Library, 313 Elm Ave., at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 2, and meet Minnesota "Crime Wave" mystery authors William Kent Krueger, Carl Brookins and Ellen Hart, who have published more than 30 novels and have received nearly two dozen local, regional and national awards. Kids to Camp Spaghetti Supper
This fundraiser will be held from 5-7 p.m. Saturday, April 2, at the Mahtowa Covenant Church. All proceeds will go toward camp fees for the children of the church. The cost is a free-will donation. Take-outs are available for pickup by calling 218-389-6307.

Pancake Breakfast

Grand Breakfast
All are welcome from 8 a.m. to noon Sunday, April 3, at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 60 Hartman Dr., Moose Lake. Sponsored by the Men's Club of Holy Angels Parish, this all-you-can-eat breakfast will be $6 for adults, $4 for children 6-12, and free for children 5 and under. Take-outs and delivery are available.
AARP Driver Safety Program

Digital Photography Workshop
Learn the techniques of digital photography from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, April 9, at the Cloquet Public Library, 302 14th St. The workshop offers classroom instruction and outdoor shooting for beginners and those seeking to improve their skills.
