Local children from Barnum, Carlton, Cloquet, Esko and Wrenshall will team up with two professional actors on Aug. 27 and 28 to present Prairie Fire Children's Theatre's original musical version of the classic tale of love and redemption, "Beauty and The Beast."
Performances are slated for 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 27, and 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 28, in the Cloquet Middle School Auditorium.
"Beauty and The Beast," with script and music by Daniel Nordquist and costume and set design by Deborah Pick, continues PFCT's tradition of presenting classic tales as you've never seen them done before.
Prairie Fire Theatre professionals Christine Martini and Jeremy Day will co-direct the production and play the roles of Serafina, the Queen of the Gypsies and The Beast.
