Esko ISD 99, Esko, Minnesota, will receive sealed bids for Bus Garage & Athletic Parking project, until 2:00 PM, Tuesday, January 21, 2020. Bids will be received by the Superintendent of Schools - Mr. Aaron Fischer, Esko ISD 99 District Office, 2 E Hwy 61, Esko, MN 55733. There is no agent for the receipt of bids other than the Superintendent of Schools. Bids will be opened and read aloud at the time and place specified herein.

All bidders shall meet the requirements as defined under the Responsible Contractor Law, Statutes Section 16C.285. A signed statement, under oath, verifying compliance with each of the minimum criteria shall be included with the bid submission.

Project consists of: constructing new Bus Garage with 16 stalls pole building construction including 2 heated stalls and concrete slabs throughout; and new parking lot with paving. Associated mechanical and electrical work. Parking lot improvements with paving at Esko Athletic complex including select demolition of existing bus garages foundations. Associated mechanical and electrical work.

A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 3:00 PM local time on January 7, 2020 at 2 E Hwy 61, Esko, MN 55733. Attendance is not mandatory, but strongly encouraged.

Bids shall be submitted on the bid form provided in the specifications, at the date and time specified. The complete bid form shall be submitted without alterations, additions or erasures. Envelopes containing bids must be sealed and marked "Bid Enclosed, Esko ISD 99 - Bus Garage & Athletic Parking" with the name and address of the bidder, and the date and hour of the opening. Lump sum bids for this work are solicited from contractors specializing in and highly experienced in this work.

Each bid of $10,000 or greater shall be accompanied by a bid bond, or certified or cashier's check in the amount of at least five (5%) percent of the bid amount made payable to Esko ISD 99 as bid security that, if the bid is accepted, the contractor will execute the contract and file the required performance and payment bonds within the allotted time period after notice of award of contract.

The Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or parts of bids and waive any formalities or irregularities in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after bid opening without consent of the Board of Education.
