NOTICE OF MAIL BALLOT PROCEDURES TO VOTERS OF HOLYOKE TOWNSHIP
IN CARLTON COUNTY,
MINNESOTA
Voters in Holyoke in Carlton County will vote entirely by mail in all statewide elections as authorized by the township clerk under Minnesota Statutes 204B.45.
For the 2020 statewide elections, the election dates and the corresponding dates that ballots will be mailed for the foregoing mail ballot precinct are:
General Election: November 3, 2020 Ballot Mailing Dates: September 18 - October 20, 2020
Each voter registered by October 13, 2020, for the Statewide General Election will be mailed a ballot automatically.
Eligible voters not pre-registered by the date noted, or pre-registered voters wishing to receive their ballot at a temporary address may contact the Carlton County Auditor's Office by phone, mail, or in person for an absentee ballot application.
All ballots may be returned by mail (a prepaid postage return envelope is included when the ballots are mailed), or may be delivered in person, or delivered by designated agent to:

Ballots must be received no later than 8:00 p.m. on Election Day. Ballots postmarked on or before Election Day and received by the county by the close of business the day before the county canvass will be counted.
In addition to normal business hours, extended hours for mail ballot voting Saturday, October 31, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.; Monday, November 2, 2020 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.;
The polling place for this election will be at the Carlton County Auditor's Office. The polls will be open:
Tuesday, November 3, 2020 from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
At least one AutoMARK ballot marker will be available at the polling place that permits persons with disabilities to vote privately and independently and that permits any voter to submit their ballot to be automatically checked and corrected for voting errors prior to being cast and counted.
