NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Wrenshall, Minnesota, will receive bids at the office of the City Clerk until 10:00 a.m. Local Time, Tuesday, February 25th, 2020 for construction of street and stormwater improvements along Goad Drive, Erickson Lane, and Mason Drive. The project takes place in the City of Wrenshall in accordance with the plans and specifications on file in the office of the City Clerk, the Duluth Builders Exchange, and QuestCDN. Major work items include: pavement removal, storm sewer piping, ditching, aggregate base, concrete curb and gutter, bituminous paving, and yard restoration.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 11th, 2020 at the Wrenshall City Hall.

All bids shall be made on the proposal form contained in the specifications and shall be accompanied by a cashier’s check, bid bond or certified check payable to the order of the City of Wrenshall for not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid.

Bids shall be mailed or delivered to the City Clerk, securely sealed and endorsed upon the outside wrapper with a brief statement or summary as to the work for which the bid is made.

The City Council reserves the right to reject all bids. All bids and the award of bid shall be subject to the Competitive Bidding Rules of the City of Wrenshall.
