The Carlton Board of Education, independent School District No. 93, Carlton, Minnesota and Wrenshall Board of Education, Independent School District No. 100, Wrenshall, Minnesota held a Special Joint Meeting in the South Terrace Elementary School Gym on Monday, October 7, 2019. Chairperson Lehto and Chairperson Laveau called the meeting to order at 6:10 p.m.

Wrenshall Board members present: Matthew Laveau, Janaki Fisher-Merritt, Michelle Blanchard, Warren Weiderman, Jack Eudy, and Debra Washenesky.
Carlton Board members present: LaRae Lehto, Ann Gustafson, Jennifer Chmielewski, and Tim Hagenah.
Carlton Board members absent: Sue Karp and Sam Ojibway.
Architectural Resources (ARI): Katie and Ryan
Ehlers Financial: Jodie

ARI two-site facility option presentation and cost estimates.

Potential 2020 referendum dates were discussed.

Possible consolidation timeline was discussed.

Consolidation Agreement Decisions to be determined:
•School Board orderly reduction transition plan to 6 or 7 members.
•Whether pre-existing debt remains the obligation of each pre-existing district's taxpayers, or becomes the obligation of all the taxpayers in the newly consolidated district.
•Whether any existing operating levy referendum revenues will be continued or discontinued.
