The Board of Education of Independent School District 93, Carlton, Minnesota, met through interactive technology and remotely on Thursday, May 14, 2020. Lehto called the meeting to order at 7:03 p.m. Members present: Chmielewski, Gustafson, Karp, Ojibway, Lehto, with Superintendent Carman. Absent: Hagenah.
MOTION by Chmielewski to approve the meeting agenda was supported by Karp. A roll call vote was called: Chmielewski-yea, Gustafson-yea, Karp-yea, Ojibway-yea, Lehto-yea. MOTION passed 5-0. Discussed Superintendent Applications. Ojibway left the meeting at 8:12 p.m. MOTION by Gustafson to extend offer for interview to Superintendent Candidate D (John Engstrom) was supported by Karp. A roll call vote was called: Chmielewski-yea, Gustafson-yea, Karp-yea, Lehto-yea. MOTION passed 4-0. MOTION by Karp to adjourn at 8:34 p.m. was supported by Chmielewski. A roll call vote was called: Chmielewski-yea, Gustafson-yea, Karp-yea, Lehto-yea. MOTION passed 4-0.
