County Seat Theater’s production of “Hilda’s Yard” is the story of a summer day in 1956. Hilda and Sam are new empty-nesters with plans to do laundry and buy a new TV, respectively.

Then Gary and Janey fall into their yard, and chaos ensues in the play by Norm Foster.

County Seat’s production is at 7 p.m. Sept. 27-28 and Oct. 3-5, 2 p.m. Sept. 29 and Oct. 6. Address: Encore Performing Arts Center, 2035 Highway 33 South (frontage road), Cloquet. Tickets are available at countyseattheater.com.
