Parade, fireworks, highlight Moose Lake Fourth of July

Head to Moose Lake for a whole weekend of events and a good, old-fashioned Independence Day celebration where family-friendly events will provide everyone with an opportunity for something fun all weekend long.

Come enjoy traditional summer comfort foods, several bands and games to entertain kids and adults alike. The beer gardens are a tradition in Moose Lake and offer people the opportunity to pause and enjoy the moment before summer slips away.

The Moose Lake Paddle Canoe and Kayak races garner excitement from enthusiastic fans cheering for their favorite racer.

The theme of this year's parade is “Celebrating Service,” to honor anyone who volunteers, whether it’s military, police or fire, anyone who volunteers service out of the goodness of their heart.

This year's grand marshals are Maury and Betty Coughlin from Moose Lake.
