Amanda Dahl and Jason Szumowski, both of Cloquet, Minn., were united in marriage on Friday, Aug. 13, 2010, at Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College in Cloquet. The officiant was Nick Szumowski.
Parents of the couple are Peg Hodgson of Cloquet, Rick Dahl of International Falls, Minn., and Ed and Jeanne Szumowski of Cloquet.
The bride chose her friends, Kim Angell and Erica Clark, both of Cloquet, as matron and maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Heather Oettinger of Farmington, Minn., step-sister of the bride, and Angie Szumowski of New Brighton, Minn., sister of the groom. Flower girls were Emma Dahl of Prior Lake, Minn., niece of the bride; Livia and Addison Oettinger of Farmington, nieces of the bride; and Kylie and Lainey McKeon of Cloquet, friends of the couple.
The groom chose his friend, Dan VanErem of Fargo, N.D. as his best man. Groomsmen were Bret Walczynski of Duluth, Minn., friend of the groom; Josh Whitebird of Cloquet, friend of the couple; and Rob Dahl of Prior Lake, brother of the bride. Ring bearers were Drew and Evan Angell of Cloquet, friends of the couple.
Following a four-wheeling, camping and fishing honeymoon trip up the North Shore, the couple makes their home in Cloquet.
